East Side Story

Here are a couple outtakes from last night's East Village story.  Danna @ Wilhelmina was fantastic, we ended up shooting for nearly 13 hours and her energy was phenomenal right to the end of the shoot.

I was once again enormously fortunate to have Martin Pretorius and Livio Angeleri, the best beauty team I've ever had the pleasure of working with on the shoot last night.  Many many thanks to the both of you for everything yesterday.  I'm very glad we had an opportunity to work together again before the holidays.

Birthday Editorial!

Tuesday of this week was my 26th Birthday and as it happens, also the day I shot my most recent fashion editorial.  The shoot went flawlessly.  I'm currently editing and retouching the images for a December submission date.  As soon as the story is published, I'll update with more info.

A Million Thanks to Martin Pretorius, Livio Angeleri, Jeremy Myers, Valerie Gnaedig, Colin Chiucchini, Philipe Linares and Carlos Garcia de Dios for their incredible professionalism throughout the day.  The story truly reflects everyone's efforts and I'm proud to call it my best yet.

Also, another very special thanks to Blenda @ Wilhelmina.  Blenda was a sensational model and a joy to work with.  Not one bad frame from this girl, unbelievable.

Halloween Beauty

Early last week, I had a random thought to put halloween masks on girls in their underwear and high heels.  The idea was to mix the horrifying with the beautiful.  On Saturday I shot in my studio for 3 hours or so and the results were creepier than I had anticipated.  Although the images themselves were odd, the atmosphere on set was even stranger.  Directing someone with a manufactured expression on their face is very jarring.  Check the website for more from the shoot.

Latest Bonobos Shoot

Bonobos just posted some images from our latest shoot in Greenwich, CT last weekend.  The shoot went off without a hitch thanks to our great models from Wilhelmina and RED and the amazing wardrobe styling by the fantastic Sam Spector.

The Bonobos shoots are getting better all the time.

Montauk

I went out to Montauk this weekend with my Mother and Brothers.  I took this picture of the lighthouse at Montauk Point a day before the rain came.

Addicted to Love with Martin Pretorius

Last month, Trashionista.net teamed up with celebrity makeup artist and 80's glam master Martin Pretorius, to shoot a video tutorial covering the process he used to create the iconic makeup look for Robert Palmer's 1980's "Addicted to Love" music video.

Trashionista.net asked me to shoot the finished product. Here it is.

Bonobos Fall Lifestyle

Bonobos asked me to photograph their most recent line of menswear to reflect how nicely it compliments the current seasonal transition as we move from Summer into Fall. Central Park was the obvious choice to showcase Bonobos' sophisticated yet casual look and to represent the city the brand calls home.

Caroline Flach Shoot

Woke up at 4AM this morning to shoot for Designer Caroline Flach on the Brooklyn waterfront outside her Red Hook studio.

The dreary weather today was perfect for creating the muted look I had in mind to go with Caroline's delicate collection. The shoot was also a success thanks to Margarita Tisato and her beautiful job with the Hair and Makeup.
